It's the beginning of the 21st century when a young man, Randy is bored and browsing the internet for something interesting. His attention is drawn by a game called Martial Heroes. He called out for his Sister, Iris because they are both interested in Martial arts.

As the game started to load they found themselves being sucked in to it, eyes closed they allowed it to pull them in. When they opened their eyes they were standing, backs against a tree in the centre square of a village. The village was situated in a valley and buzzing with activity. Small shops filled the square and all sorts of people ran around like bees swarm around a bee hive. After some time Randy and Iris realised that they were in the ancient world of the Orient, many years before the 21st century, many years before computers had been invented

In this world there is a long fought war going on between the 2 major forces: the Lawful and evil factions for the domination of the continent. The balance between the 2 forces shifts every few years but the battle continues. The major classes of each faction in this war fight the other fiercely and 4 special classes (warrior, mage, assassin and monk) clearly dominate the battlefields. Each faction in the war draws a great part of his power from well guarded ancient artefacts. The battle for the artefacts of the opposite faction continues and who is to say which side will eventually conquer the other.

As well as the war between factions the continent was littered with evil monsters just waiting to stop them in their tracks. Randy and Iris decided to get involved in the war and the battle between good and evil, the young man choosing to be a lawful Warrior and his sister choosing to be an evil Assassin. They headed off across the continent towards the battleground, joining forces against the monsters along the way, until they reached the Battle Grounds and parted company to follow their chosen path to great fame and glorious wars. They even adopted the continents motto ‘No Mercy for the Weak, No Fear for the Strong’
