Luna Online

Luna online is a MMORPG where Elfs and Humans must bond together to fight the evil that invades their Blue land. Game characters are super cute style, with very manga-like (cartoon-like) facial expression. The game also provides the unique “Friendship system” and “Family system”, and it has a very convenient trading, dating, family and community system for everyone. You can also build up your farm, plant, business, train and feed your own lovely mounts and pets.

Luna Online is a MMORPG that emphasizes user communities. Among the game's unique social features are the Match Making System, which helps players find the perfect match to play with, and the Family System, which lets players join up and operate a farm together. Other characteristics include flexible character development with over 40 jobs, graphic quality, cute character designs, and fast paced action.

- Class Trees

  • Class Tree System
At certain levels, the player is capable of improving their current class in one of the three class trees by taking the next sub class in their tree. There is a total of six stages for these sub classes. New characters start without taking one of the three trees, but are given the chance to pick their tree at level 5, which gives them their first stage sub class (which is the class the tree is named by). Stage 2 is at level 20, Stage 3 is at level 40, and Stage 4 is at level 75. Stages 5 and 6 are not available yet, however. When moving to the next stage, the character is allowed to take any sub class at that stage, regardless of classes picked previously.

  • Races
There are two kinds of Races in Luna Online, Elf and Human. The main difference between the two is in the sub classes available later in the game, that certain sub classes are available to a single race. An example is for the 'Rogue' Tree, the sub class 'Thief' is only available to Humans.

  • Classes
There are three kinds of class Trees in Luna Online, Fighter, Rogue, and Mage. Fighters deal in heavy melee weapons, focused on physical power and defence. Rogues deal in light physical weapons, focused on speed and ranged capabilities. Mages deal in magic and magical weapons, focusing on magical attacks and support.

- Social Systems

  • Match Making System

A player is asked to fill out a profile of their own personality, which is used by the game to find suitable matches in other players (indicated by a 'heart marker' icon). This is used for various features such as Date Instancing.

  • Date Instancing

Once paired up by the Match Making System, the two players are given the chance to go to special areas without the presence of other players. These areas are used for hunting and questing, or just simply to spend time together, just the two of them.

  • Family System

Families are a collection of five characters who have a good relationship with each other. Each family member is given a title which is used as their rank in the family, such as 'father' and 'mother'. Families are able to do a variety of things together as the family improves, such as build vehicles and other items, as well as buying a farm.

  • Improving Relations

'Matches' and 'Family' who come to each other's aid in battle will have their relationship with that person increased. This improves the effects of the Match or Family, as well as personal improvements.

- Other Game Features/Systems

  • Player vs. Player Combat
Luna Online has PvP. You may fight another person on any map. There are no penalties if you lose, yet no rewards if you win. The bad part is, your HP and MP will not automatically heal after the fight, therefore you must use potions or have someone heal you.

  • Fishing
Fishing is done to acquire fishing points, which are exchanged to get various useful items. Various game elements affect the results of fishing, such as timing on the fishing bar, the weather, the location used to fish at, and some equipment.

  • Farming
Farms are areas owned by a family (See Family System), registered by the head of the family. The farm is used as a common home for the family, with an item storage shared by the whole family, as well as for growing plants harvested when ripe as usable items. Farms cost an upkeep amount which must be paid as a rental fee, or the farm's ownership is removed. The game only has a limited number of farms available across the entire server.

  • Crafting
Equipment can be 'Enchanted' to improve offensive or defensive ability, and certain items can be 'Compounded' and 'Disjointed' (combined and separated) to be used in 'Upgrading', which further improves Equipment by increasing player statistics.
